About us

Presentation

SwissTreasurer is the leading association for corporate treasurers and finance professionals in French-speaking Switzerland. With more than 150 active members from nearly 90 countries, it provides a unique environment for exchanging knowledge, developing skills and staying ahead of developments in treasury and corporate finance.

Our mission is to:


  • Encourage the sharing of experiences and best practices
  • Provide opportunities for professional networking and discussion
  • Share economic and regulatory news relating to corporate treasury in Switzerland, Europe and worldwide

History

Originally founded as a forum for corporate foreign-exchange specialists, the association gradually broadened its scope to meet the growing needs of treasury professionals. It has evolved through several stages:


  • Corporate Treasurers Club,
  • ACTSR – Association of Corporate Treasurers Suisse Romande,
  • Since 2024 : SwissTreasurer, a modernised identity reflecting our regional and international reach


Today, we are a recognised organisation within the Swiss and European financial landscape.

The SwissTreasurer Committee

The Committee is elected by the General Assembly for a four-year term. Its members volunteer their time to organise the association’s activities and represent the interests of the profession.

The association is managed by a Committee elected by the General Assembly for a four-year term. All Committee members serve on a voluntary basis and are committed to:

  • Organising and managing the association’s activities
  • Representing the interests of treasury professionals before partners and institutions
  • Ensuring the quality and relevance of the content provided to members

  • Eric Felli

    With 30 years of experience in treasury management, he has worked for the past fifteen years as Senior Treasury Manager at compenswiss, the Swiss Compensation Fund for Old Age and Survivors’ Insurance, Disability Insurance and Income Compensation Allowances. In this role, he is responsible for liquidity management, collateral management and physical gold holdings.


    Previously, he worked in the treasury departments of several multinational groups, covering a broad range of responsibilities, including financing, investments and financial risk management. He also developed particular expertise in managing technology projects.

  • Liza Rizk

    Liza is a treasury expert with more than 10 years of international experience in treasury, risk and liquidity management. She is currently Treasury Lead for EMEA and APAC at General Mills in Nyon. Previously, she served as Deputy Head of Treasury at SITA in Geneva, where she managed the Group’s financing and liquidity.


    Her expertise includes cash management, FX hedging, investments, banking relationships, and the implementation of treasury systems and policies. Liza is based in Geneva, Switzerland.

  • Tobias Thiessen

    Tobias Thiessen is a committed professional at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, where he contributes to global health initiatives aimed at improving access to vaccines in low-income countries.


    With an analytical and structured approach, he supports project coordination and collaboration among stakeholders, helping to deliver the lasting impact of vaccination programmes.

  • Kirsty Craig

    Kirsty leads treasury operations for the EMEA and APAC regions at General Mills, Inc. (GMI), a global manufacturer and distributor of branded food products sold through retail channels. Its portfolio includes Cheerios, Betty Crocker and Häagen-Dazs. GMI is a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Minneapolis, United States, and listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).


    Kirsty’s responsibilities include cash and liquidity management, foreign exchange risk hedging and bank account management. She is also involved in mergers and acquisitions initiatives and treasury optimisation projects.


    Kirsty is based in Nyon, Switzerland. Before joining General Mills, she worked on foreign exchange risk hedging at Eaton in Switzerland and India.

  • Sakine Pion

    Sakine Pion has more than 20 years of experience in finance and treasury within international environments. She held key positions at Logitech, Bacardi and Clarins before joining Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, where she has worked for the past five years.


    She has extensive expertise in treasury management, cash management, working capital, risk management, foreign exchange and hedging. Sakine is also highly experienced in debt instruments and revolving credit facilities (RCFs), as well as intercompany loans and their tax implications.


    As a leader of corporate treasury functions, she has successfully implemented three treasury management systems (TMS), automated reporting for the Board of Directors, and designed and deployed investment and hedging strategies.

  • Daniel Hartmeier

    Daniel leads the Treasury Project Management Office for the Christian Louboutin Group. His responsibilities include overseeing treasury projects, monitoring the Group’s debt, managing bank fees and administering user access worldwide.


    Christian Louboutin opened his first boutique in Paris in 1991. A passionate shoe designer and craftsman, he is now regarded as one of the most influential fashion designers of our time. His collections combine wit, glamour, elegance and technical mastery in a distinctive way. Since the brand was launched, his creations have been showcased in museums, on Fashion Week runways, on red carpets and throughout popular culture worldwide. As a result, the Christian Louboutin name and its iconic red sole rank among the most valuable brands in the fashion industry.


    Daniel is based in Geneva, Switzerland. He holds the Swiss Certified Treasurer qualification from the University of Lucerne and has more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance and treasury.

  • Sophie Vernet

    Sophie is a treasury professional with extensive expertise in foreign exchange, including emerging and frontier markets, and broad experience across a range of professional environments, including banking, commodity trading and the non-profit sector.


    She lived and worked in Russia, the Middle East, Kenya and Vietnam before settling in Switzerland, where she led the FX desk at Vitol for 14 years. Vitol is one of the world’s largest independent energy commodity trading companies.


    In 2023, she transitioned to the non-profit sector, advising the International Committee of the Red Cross on foreign exchange management and other front-office treasury matters.


    Since 2026, she has been semi-retired but continues to serve as a volunteer treasury consultant for the ICRC and potentially other NGOs, while also devoting time to personal projects.


    She is the mother of three adult sons and lives on the Swiss Riviera.
